Garret Prahl

Garrett Prahl (DIY Sportsman) grew up hunting the marshes of Wisconsin. During that time, he dove deeply into mobile hunting and filming. That combination along with a technical background naturally led to making videos not only of hunts, but also tips and modifications related to gear, strategy, and scouting logistics. At the time that even included making custom maps for handheld GPS devices. Over time, Garrett's channel grew a larger following, and he also expanded his experience by doing more travel hunting out of state for whitetails as well as turkeys and elk, learning to hunt river bottoms, big woods, steep hills and bluffs, timbered swamps, logging country, and mixed agricultural areas. This gives Garrett a unique perspective when it comes to analyzing the details of various habitat types while applying an eye for detail when it comes to digital scouting.
